Oma Lee

Director, Asia at Finsbury Glover Hering

Oma is a Director at Finsbury Glover Hering’s Beijing office.

Prior to joining the firm, Oma was a program officer in the Global Policy and Advocacy team for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Her work at the Foundation covered China’s multilateral and bilateral policy and aid engagements with international institutions and developing countries. She has served in other policy and stakeholder management roles with Bloomberg Media, Asia Society New York, and Stanford Law School. At the Beijing Normal University China Philanthropy Research Institute, she helped formulate and implement regulations for local charities and foreign NGOs in China. Oma is also the co-founder of the Beijing Women’s Network, a community platform for advancing synergies among thousands of women across Beijing. She was awarded the Richard Rockefeller Fellowship for her work.

She received her law degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and attended Williams College in Massachusetts, USA. She is a native of Hong Kong and speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
