Barton R. (Chip) Bright

Barton R. (Chip) Bright has over 20 years of experience in the financial services and technology industry. Barton R. (Chip) began their career in 1996 as Associate General Counsel for Simione Central Holdings, Inc./Central Health, and then moved to TSYS in 1998 as Group Executive (Legal). In 2008, they became VP, Legal for FIS (Fidelity Information Services). From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Attorney at Law for Fintech Legal, and then became Corporate Counsel for BBVA Compass and FVP and Sr. Counsel - Payments for SunTrust in 2011. In 2014, they joined FactorTrust (acquired by TransUnion) as General Counsel and VP of Compliance, and then moved to BillingTree in 2017 as General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. In 2021, they worked as a Consultant for Fintech Legal, and is currently General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary for FINTAINIUM\u2122.

Barton R. (Chip) Bright has a long educational history. Barton R. (Chip) attended the University of Georgia School of Law from 1987 to 1990, graduating with a JD in Law. Prior to that, they obtained an ABJ in Journalism and Mass Communications from The University of Georgia. Theireducational background also includes Sprayberry High School, J.J. Daniel Middle School, and Bells Ferry Elementary School. In addition, they hold a Certified Consumer Credit Compliance Professional certificate from the National Automotive Finance Association, which they obtained in April 2015.
