Arik Kfir has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.
Arik started their career as a Software Engineer at the Israeli Air Force (IAF) in 1997 and gradually took on leadership roles within the organization. Arik led a team of nine engineers developing various applications and frameworks for the IAF. As the Software Team Lead, they were responsible for introducing J2EE into the air-force software development units and establishing the IT unit's J2EE frameworks team. Arik also founded and led the CTO team for the software development unit, defining Java-related methodologies, procedures, and training.
In 2007, Arik joined Infolinks, Inc. as the CTO and VP R&D, where they effectively led the R&D department in maximizing revenues for publishers and advertisers. Arik spearheaded a shift from fully on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based SaaS, utilizing technologies like Kubernetes, ChatOps, and GitOps. This transition resulted in significant cost reduction without compromising on service quality. Arik remained at Infolinks until 2018, during which time they also led a team developing a proprietary real-time bidding platform and introduced innovative ways of transferring information between servers while maintaining data history.
Following their time at Infolinks, Arik joined Unbotify as the VP R&D. Arik managed the engineering team responsible for producing the company's advanced SDKs and building the next-generation real-time observation processing system. Arik also oversaw recruitment efforts, both before and after the company's acquisition by Adjust GmbH.
In 2019, Arik joined Trustdome as the VP R&D. Arik continued to demonstrate their leadership skills by growing the R&D team from 15 to nearly 60 engineers based in multiple locations. As part of the architecture team, they played a pivotal role in rewriting the product and consolidating existing products into a single platform.
In 2021, Arik became the Senior Director of Engineering at Zscaler after the company acquired Trustdome. Arik continued leading the Trustdome R&D group while also being involved in rewriting the product and consolidating existing products into a new platform.
