Richard Mcguinness

Richard McGuinness is an experienced professional currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at FinTrU since September 2017. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Director at Glentoran Football Club from July 2014 to September 2019, where primary responsibilities included managing the club's finances. Richard's extensive background in the finance sector includes serving as Senior Vice President at Citi from August 2005 to September 2017, focusing on architectural governance for a vast array of applications and managing a large team in reference data operations. Earlier in Richard's career, from August 2001 to August 2005, Richard worked as a Software Engineer at BT, specializing in the development of telephone and broadband applications. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Computer Science from Ulster University, obtained in 2001.
