UX Researcher at Finvi

Rubab Salim has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience research. Rubab is currently working as a UX Researcher at Finvi since April 2022. Before that, they worked at Slabs from September 2018 to April 2022 as a UX/UI Researcher, where they researched and proposed new solutions to make websites more user-friendly. Rubab also tested websites at different design and production stages to assess their conformance with designs.

Prior to their role at Slabs, Rubab worked as a User Experience Intern at Slabs from July 2017 to September 2018. During this time, they gathered and arranged research data to create representative graphs and charts for presentations. Rubab also conducted consumer surveys and gathered data on purchasing habits for branding efforts.

Rubab's earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Hackensack Meridian Health from February 2015 to July 2017. In this role, they recorded data, analyzed test results, and kept meticulous reports using various software packages. Rubab also liaised with medical and research communities to provide actionable solutions for high-quality healthcare. Rubab was responsible for keeping detailed notes on experiments and converting them into data reports for distribution to the entire staff.

Rubab Salim obtained their Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Thomas Edison State University, where they studied from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma of Education in UX/UI Researcher at the University of Michigan from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their degrees, Rubab Salim has also obtained certifications in Product Management from the University of Virginia in December 2022, and in Qualitative Market Research from the University of Michigan in April 2022.
