Jeen van Beek

Jeen van Beek has extensive experience in social work and advocacy, notably serving as a Senior Specialist at Fiom since July 1998, focusing on unwanted pregnancies and lineage inquiries. As a member of the COC Regio Nijmegen board from June 2017 to June 2023, Jeen promoted the rights and integration of the LGBTQ+ community. In collaboration with various organizations from January 2022 to February 2024, Jeen worked on establishing a Rainbow Housing project, addressing themes of aging and care. Previous roles include youth counselor at Jongeren crisiscentrum De Jawo and volunteer positions supporting individuals through sensitive issues, demonstrating a commitment to social welfare and community engagement. Jeen's educational background includes degrees in Therapeutic Studies and Creative Therapy Drama.
