Eleanore Irvine

Eleanore Irvine has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eleanore began their career as an Industrial Placement Trainee at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where they received training in analytical methods. Eleanore then joined the University of Strathclyde as an RSE Enterprise Fellow, gaining experience in commercializing academic research into a start-up company. Eleanore later worked at the Saltire Foundation as a Saltire Fellow, a program that equipped their with leadership skills in Scottish business.

Afterwards, Eleanore joined Biogelx Limited, initially as a Product Development Manager, where they directed the development of the Biogelx product range. Eleanore later became a Business Development Manager at Biogelx, developing a network of collaborative relationships with academic and industrial cell biology partners.

Currently, Eleanore serves as the Head of Business Development at Fios Genomics. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at the same company, where they provided data analysis and integration services in drug discovery, diagnostics, and applied research. Eleanore also held the position of Business Development Manager at Fios Genomics.

Throughout their work experience, Eleanore has gained expertise in business development, commercialization, product development, and collaborative partnerships.

Eleanore Irvine received their education from Williamwood High School, where they attended from 1998 to 2003. Following their high school education, they matriculated at the University of Strathclyde, where they obtained an MSci in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from 2003 to 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at the same institution and completed this degree from 2008 to 2012.
