Menna Zayed is an experienced professional in global health and public advocacy, currently working as an instructor at Terre des hommes foundation and as a consultant at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung since August 2024. In addition to these roles, Zayed serves as a researcher and public health advocate with Women in Global Health, while also engaging in various capacities with IVPN-Network, YOUNGO, and the International Pharmaceutical Federation, focusing on health policy and sustainability. Zayed's work includes significant involvement as a planetary health advocate for organizations such as the Planetary Health Alliance and the Global Climate and Health Alliance, as well as being a youth delegate for UN Climate Change. Zayed's academic background includes a degree in clinical pharmacy from Alexandria University, completed in July 2022.

The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is the global federation of national associations of pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists and pharmaceutical educators in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO). Founded in 1912, today FIP has 156 member organisations and represents over four million practitioners, scientists and educators around the world. FIP’s vision is a world where everyone benefits from access to safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines and health technologies, as well as from pharmaceutical care services provided by pharmacists, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
