Mary-Anne MacLeod

Mary-Anne Macleod is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance across various organizations. Currently serving as Director at the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi since November 2024, Mary-Anne holds multiple other director and council roles, including positions with AgResearch, NIWA, Fire and Emergency NZ, DairyNZ, and the Environmental Protection Authority NZ. Mary-Anne has also contributed as an Independent Director and Strategic Advisor for various entities since July 2018 and previously served as a Trustee for the House of Science National Charitable Trust. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science (MSc) with honors in Earth Sciences and Geography from The University of Waikato, as well as professional development at London Business School and Melbourne Business School.
