Jim Longest C.F.P.S. has extensive experience in fire protection and safety, with a career spanning several decades. Since 2001, Jim Longest has held various roles at Fire and Life Safety America, including Fire Protection Specialist, Senior Inspector, and Certified Fire Protection Specialist/Senior Inspector Trainer. Previously, Jim Longest worked as a Senior Inspector at Grinnell Fire Protection from 1995 to 2001 and served as a Senior Field Technician at Automatic Sprinkler Corp. of America from 1984 to 1995. Jim Longest began a career in fire services with the Chesterfield County Fire Department, where duties included Firefighter/EMT, Sergeant, and Lieutenant from 1968 to 1984.
