Caitlin Marcellus

Caitlin Marcellus is a Forensic Mechanical Consultant at Fire Research & Technology, with prior experience as an Optical Coating Engineer at Optimax Systems, Inc. and an Adjunct Instructor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Rochester Institute of Technology. Marcellus holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a BA in Mathematics with a Minor in Philosophy from Nazareth University. The focus areas include mechanics and design, with interests in biomedical applications, elastography, performance automotives, aeronautics, and structural design. Additionally, previous roles include tutoring and various managerial positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where responsibilities included training and overseeing teams in personal lines insurance sales and service. Marcellus is currently seeking research and teaching opportunities at the university level in Rochester, NY.
