Deirdre McGowan Smyth

Deirdre McGowan Smyth has worked in the R&D field since 2012. Deirdre began their career at Medtronic as an Associate R&D Engineer Structural Heart in 2012 and held two additional roles at the company until 2016. In 2015, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Saluda Medical. In 2018, they joined FIRE1 Foundry as an R&D Manager and later became a Senior R&D Engineer.

Deirdre McGowan Smyth completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Galway in 2012. Deirdre had previously attended Saint Michaels, Loreto, Navan from 2002 to 2008. No additional certifications are listed.
