Samantha Mendelsohn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in coordination and support within diverse environments. Currently serving as a Coordination and Support Specialist, Sr. at Firefly Autism since September 2019, Samantha offers significant expertise in operational support and client services, previously holding the position of Director of Client Services at Baystate Financial. Earlier roles include Insurance and Intakes Coordinator at APEX Behavioral Consulting LLC, where Samantha managed client communications and billing processes, and educational support roles as a Paraprofessional at Hosmer Elementary School and a Teacher’s Assistant at Ivy Street School. Samantha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services from Penn State University, attained in 2014.

Our vision is a world where individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, and communities have access to the support and solutions needed to maximize learning potential and individual success. Since 2003, Firefly Autism has been changing the landscape of behavior and mental health. Working with individuals from 18 months to over 70 years of age, we are one of the few places in Colorado where everyone, including adults, are not only welcome, but are also receiving support. With collaboration from families and other providers, we deliver services through individualized behavior plans and instructional goals that meet the client’s interests, values, and support needs. At Firefly Autism, we believe in using the principles of assent-based and values-based practices to ensure a person-centered approach to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Our purpose is to transform the lives of autistic children. Partnering with families, we create life-long relationships through thoughtful, innovative, empirical learning treatment programs.
