Mara Robertson

Mara Robertson is the current Head of Health Plan Operations at Firefly Health. Mara has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, having worked as a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a Senior Manager at Bupa, and a Management Consultant at Huron Consulting Group.

At BCG, Mara led teams in designing strategies and optimizing operations at top US payers/providers and pharmaceutical companies. At Bupa, they managed a process improvement and internal product team of ~25 employees who supported the operations function. And at Huron Consulting Group, Mara improved processes in hospital systems around the US - designing and implementing technologies, revenue cycle optimization, multidisciplinary communication structures, and clinical pathways.

Before working in healthcare, Mara worked as a Health Promotions Programmer at Macalester College. In this role, they created and implemented health promotion programs for students, staff, and faculty.

Mara has a passion for global health and has dedicated their career to improving the health of populations around the world.

Mara Robertson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College in Neuroscience and a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Business Administration and Management, General.
