Richard Sigethy, SET has a diverse work experience in the security and fire protection industry. Richard started their career in 1997 as an Installation Supervisor at Brinks Home Security. In 1999, they joined Alarm One Inc as a Project Manager/Technical Manager. In 2004, they became a Senior Project Manager-Technical Supervisor at Fireline Corporation, where they oversaw various projects and technical teams. Later, they assumed the role of Director of System Operations at Fireline Corporation, responsible for managing system departments and their financial responsibilities. Richard currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Fireline Corporation.

Richard Sigethy, SET, attended Anne Arundel Community College but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In addition to their community college experience, they have obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they acquired a General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) from the Federal Communications Commission. Later, in October 2022, they obtained the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) certification from NASCLA. Lastly, in January 2023, they obtained certification in North Carolina Business Law from PSI Services LLC.
