Susan Clarkson

Susan Clarkson is the current Head of HR at Firesprite. Susan has over 20 years of experience in human resources, including 4 years as the Head of HR at Team17 Digital Ltd, a full service HR role within a growing business. Susan also has experience as the Vice Chair and Treasurer of the West Yorkshire CIPD, where they were responsible for sorting out the finances, organising events, keeping in touch with members, making sure the committee behaves, updating the website, and more. Susan has also worked as a Managing Director and HR Consultant for Apollo Consulting, providing Human Resource and Training Consultancy on a Business to Business basis to mainly small and medium sized companies. Susan has also worked as an Interim Assistant Director of Human Resources for St Leger Homes of Doncaster Ltd and an Interim HR Manager for Wanadoo (now Orange).

Susan Clarkson has a Fellowship from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in Human Resources, which they earned in 1989-1991. Susan also has a degree in Humanities from the University of Central Lancashire, with a focus in English and Theirtory, which they earned in 1983-1986.
