Alain Falys

Alain is a serial tech entrepreneur, executive and investor, with an affinity for financial services and e-commerce. He is the co-founder and CEO of Yoyo Wallet, the global mobile payment & loyalty platform. He also co-founded and ran OB10, the largest global electronic invoicing network (IPO then sold to Tungsten), and Omnis Mundi AG, a Frankfurt-based technology and Internet incubator specialized in e-commerce. As a Venture Partner at Imperial Innovations Plc, the AIM listed technology investment group, Alain was involved in three series A investments in the last year including Acunu, FeatureSpace and MusicMetric. He is also a strategic adviser to technology companies including ACE Software Solutions in the UK and TreasuryView in Estonia.

Alain has raised over £35m in seed to series B capital from Tier 1 VC’s in the last 10 years.

Alain started his career by managing a consortium of European IT companies, before becoming Senior Vice President at Visa International Europe in 1996 where he was in charge of commercial cards division. He holds the Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Européennes de Management from the Reims Management School (CESEM) in France and a BA Honours degree in European Business Administration from the Middlesex University, London.
