Blake Vance has a diverse work history spanning several industries. Blake began their career as a Welder/Fitter at Timpanogos Metals, Inc. in 1986 and later became a Comptroller at the same company from 1987 to 1989. Blake then worked as a Senior Compliance and Small Business Consulting specialist at Ernst & Young from 1989 to 1990 before joining KPMG Peat Marwick as a Senior Tax Specialist from 1990 to 1994.

In 1994, Vance took on the role of Chief Financial Officer/Interim General Manager at the New Mexico State Fair until 1997. Blake then transitioned to becoming the General Manager at Yogen Fruz World-Wide, Inc. from 1997 to 1998.

Vance joined Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. in 1998, where they held various leadership positions. Blake served as Vice President/Financial Officer, as well as Chief Financial Officer from 1998 to 1999. Blake then became the Director of New Construction/Operations from 1999 to 2001 before taking on the role of General Manager for the Texas region from 2001 to 2005.
