Dmytro Ivchenko

Dmytro Ivchenko is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. As Co-Founder and Engineer at Fireworks AI since October 2022, Dmytro has prior experience at Meta from January 2016 to September 2023, where roles included Principal Software Engineer, leading the open-sourcing of TorchRec and authoring the library for training recommendation models. Dmytro also contributed significantly to the development of the HPC training stack and the Social Graph indexing system. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, where Dmytro led the implementation of the Galene search engine and designed key functionalities for LinkedIn Recruiter. Dmytro's career started with software development roles at Bloomberg and FatWire Software, following a Master's degree in System Analysis from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
