Michael J. Pristas

Michael J. Pristas has over 20 years of experience in the energy and smart grid industries. Michael J. began their career in 2001 as Vice President of Utility Solutions at National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, where they managed the utility solutions business and developed strategic business plans for AMI, SCADA, and wireless technologies. In 2004, they joined ACcess Broadband as Senior Vice President of Business Development, where they developed and implemented a strategic business plan to pursue broadband over power lines business with municipal and electric co-op utilities. In 2006, they founded MJP Consulting LLC and served as President/CEO, providing consulting services to utility industry participants with special emphasis on "go to market" strategies and target market messaging. In 2013, they returned to MJP LLC as CEO of the Power and Energy Business Development Consultant. In 2016, they joined Gridco Systems as Director of Business Development, responsible for developing the utility business for Gridco Systems' industry leading low voltage power quality management system, technology and services in the eastern US. In 2019, they became Vice President of Business Development at Convergent Energy + Power. Michael J. is currently Vice President of US Utility Sales at Firmatek.

Michael J. Pristas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University, with a focus in Marketing.
