Heidi Emberling

Heidi Emberling serves as the Executive of Community Impact at FIRST 5 Santa Clara County, where equity-centered leadership fosters partnerships supporting the healthy development of young children. Previous roles include Interim Chief Program Officer, Deputy Chief of Early Learning, and Director of Early Learning within the organization. In addition to contributions to FIRST 5, Emberling is active in the Santa Clara County Office of Education as a member and Co-Chair of the Local Early Education Planning Council, advocating for quality early education. Other experience includes consulting for San Jose State University's Early Childhood Institute and serving as Director at Parents Place. Emberling's educational background encompasses a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University and a Master's in Early Childhood Education from San Francisco State University.
