Mike González Mpa

Mike González, MPA, currently serves as the Executive of Health & Family Strategies at FIRST 5 Santa Clara County, where significant progress has been made in community-driven strategic planning to enhance the well-being of children and families. Previously, Mike held the position of Director of Community Engagement at Santa Clara Family Health Plan, spearheading initiatives to address healthcare inequities. A diverse career includes roles such as Program Manager for the Emergency Shelter-in-Place Program during COVID-19, and senior leadership positions at the American Heart Association, where chronic disease strategies and health outcomes were improved for vulnerable populations. With a Master's in Public Administration from San Jose State University and extensive experience in health services, community engagement, and policy initiatives, Mike has dedicated efforts toward enhancing health equity and community wellness in Santa Clara County.
