Monia Hassan

Monia Hassan is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Head of the FX Trading Desk at First Abu Dhabi Bank Misr since July 2023. Prior to this, Monia held the position of Head of FX Treasury & Capital Markets Division at Arab African International Bank from November 2022 to June 2023. Monia's extensive career includes significant roles at Credit Agricole Egypt, where responsibilities included Head of FX desk and Senior FX Trader & Derivatives from December 2015 to September 2022. Earlier experience features positions at Indosuez Wealth Management as a Forex and Precious Metals Advisor and at Prime Holding as an International Equity Trader and Account Executive for the local equity market. Monia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The American University in Cairo and a Baccalaureat en Economie from Lycee français du Caire.
