Roy Agloinga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and community development. Currently serving as President and CEO of First Alaskans Institute since January 2024, Roy has previously held significant roles including External Affairs Program Officer and Program Officer at Rasmuson Foundation from June 2015 to November 2023. As Publisher and Writer for Tupagvik, Inc. from 2008 to August 2020, Roy focused on preserving Qawiaraq and Fish River language, culture, and history. Additionally, Roy operated Anu Business Consulting and Atuun Publishing Company, providing business development and planning services. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for Norton Sound Health Corporation, overseeing healthcare services for various tribes, and working as Rural Affairs Coordinator for the Municipality of Anchorage. Roy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
