Ashlie Howell

Ashlie Howell has a diverse work experience in the financial and agricultural sectors. Ashlie is currently serving as the Vice President Agriculture/Commercial Loan Officer at First Bank and Trust Company starting from May 2023. Prior to this, Ashlie worked at Farm Credit of the Virginias, where they held various positions including Senior Loan Officer, Branch Manager II, and Loan Officer from March 2018 to May 2023. Ashlie also worked as a Loan Officer II at Farm Credit from September 2005 to February 2011, providing loans to rural residents and farmers for various purposes. Ashlie's career began at Virginia Cooperative Extension, where they worked as a 4-H Youth Development professional from February 2004 to August 2005.

Ashlie Howell completed their education in marketing management from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 2000 to 2003. Ashlie also pursued a minor in Agriculture Economics during this time. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they attended Blue Ridge Community College in a transfer program. In addition to their education, Ashlie obtained a certification as a Certified Farm Transition Coordinator from Va Cooperative Extension.
