Ron Gooding

Ron Gooding, MAI, AI-GRS, currently serves as the SVP/Appraisal and Environmental Manager at First Bank of the Lake since December 2022. Previously, Ron held various leadership roles in the appraisal field, including Director of Appraisal Review at Integra Realty Resources - Charlotte, VP/Appraisal Manager at HomeTrust Bank, and Chief Appraiser at CertusBank. Throughout a distinguished career, Ron has focused on enhancing valuation standards, risk assessment, and environmental practices while supporting commercial relationship managers. Prior to their banking career, Ron was a Senior Commercial Real Estate Appraiser at Property Solutions LLC and held positions at Vantage Valuation Group and Integra Realty Resources. Ron began professional life as a Captain in the US Army, serving from June 1987 to June 1994. Ron holds a BS in Administrative Management from Clemson University and has furthered education with the Appraisal Institute and the Environmental Bankers Association.
