Sonya Thomas

Sonya Thomas is an experienced nursing professional with a strong focus on informatics and healthcare technology. Currently serving as an Informatics RN at First Baptist Medical Center since December 2020, Sonya has also held significant roles at Baylor Medical Center at Uptown as an EHR Clinical Analyst and Pre Admission Testing Manager from May 2014 to the present. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Nursing and Informatics at Eminent Medical Center from August 2021 to January 2023, and as an EHR Clinical Analyst at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. from January 2017 to December 2020. Additionally, Sonya worked as a Perioperative Nurse Manager at Baylor Medical Center at Uptown from January 2011 to May 2014. Sonya Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington, obtained between 2014 and 2016.
