John Goodyear

John Goodyear is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in the automotive and banking sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at First Business Bank's Specialty Finance division since January 2020, John focuses on floorplan financing for independent auto dealers. Previously, John held the position of Assistant Vice President at Republic Bank, where relationship building and client value addition were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Portfolio Management at NextGear Capital, where oversight of a $4B portfolio and leadership of a team were critical. John's entrepreneurial spirit was demonstrated as Co-Owner of Giovanni's, and earlier roles include General Manager at Bart's Car Store and Director of Branch Services at Automotive Finance Corporation, where comprehensive operational management and training initiatives were implemented.
