Karine van Tonder has a diverse work experience in marketing and product management. Karine is currently serving as the Director of Product Marketing at FCT since 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Marketing Manager at FCT from August 2022 to January 2023. From July 2019 to July 2022, they worked as a Marketing Manager at FCT.
Before joining FCT, Karine worked as a Marketing Manager at Dundas Jafine Inc. from November 2017 to July 2019, where they were responsible for managing all marketing activities and driving sales growth. Karine also served as a Commercialization Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from June 2016 to November 2017, leading the growth of the Power Tool Accessories portfolio.
Karine's career in marketing started at Husqvarna Group, where they worked as a Senior Marketing Specialist from August 2011 to May 2016. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Program Specialist at Staples Promotional Products from November 2008 to July 2011, and as a Bilingual Marketing Unit Assistant at Hafele America from June 2006 to November 2008. Karine began their career as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at SteriMax Inc. from July 2004 to June 2006.
Karine van Tonder completed their DEC in Arts et lettres at Collège de Valleyfield from 1994 to 1996. In 1999, they enrolled at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal to study Histoire de l'art, although the end year is unknown.
