Neil Downey

Neil Downey is the current EVP, Enterprise Strategies & CFO at First Capital REIT. Prior to this, they were Managing Director and Associate Director of Canadian Research at RBC Capital Markets from February 1996 to January 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young from May 1991 to February 1996.

Neil Downey has an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Accounting and Finance. Neil is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute and a CPA, CA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
