Andy Hyslop is a seasoned professional in database management and data operations, currently serving as the Data Platform and Operations Manager at First Central since July 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing heritage systems and strategizing technology value maximization during the migration to Azure cloud. Prior experience includes positions such as Production Database Delivery Lead at bet365, managing a vast database estate and ensuring compliance with build specifications, and DBA Manager & Head of Data at GBG Plc, leading cloud transitions and best practice initiatives. Hyslop has also held roles as a Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Consultant, Data Warehouse Developer, and SQL MI Analyst, amassing extensive expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and advanced SQL scripting. Educational background includes a BA in Business Administration from Bangor University and an HNC in Business & Finance from the University of Wales.
