Monica Saenz

Monica Saenz has over 15 years of work experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician. Monica served as the Facility Medical Director at First Choice Emergency Room from 2016. Prior to that, they worked at DOC-AID as the CEO starting from 2014 and later also took on the roles of Medical Review Officer and Associate Disability Management Specialist. Before these roles, Monica worked as an Independent Contractor, providing emergency medicine services.

Monica Saenz obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from UTMB Medical School, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Monica then pursued their Emergency Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, from 2003 to 2006.

Additionally, they have obtained two certifications. In July 2017, Monica obtained the Associate Disability Management Specialist certification from the Certification Disability Management Specialists institution. Monica also received the Medical Review Officer certification from the MEDICAL REVIEW OFFICER CERTIFICATION COUNCIL in July 2017.
