Andrew Giangrave

Andrew Giangrave is an experienced financial professional currently serving as EVP and Chief Credit Officer at First Citizens Bank since April 2022. Previously, Andrew held the position of Chief Credit Officer for Commercial Finance at CIT, where leadership was provided for credit risk management of an $11 billion portfolio and the decision-making process for approximately $4 billion in new originations annually. Earlier roles at CIT included Head of Problem Loan Management, managing a $2 billion portfolio of distressed assets, and Managing Director, overseeing a $1.2 billion leveraged loan portfolio. Andrew's career commenced at GE Capital, progressing from Analyst to Senior Vice President in Distressed Debt, managing a $1.5 billion portfolio of debt and equity investments. Andrew holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
