Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in application support and development. Currently serving as Vice President at First Citizens Bank since January 2022, Peter leads mainframe application support and development initiatives. Prior to this role, Peter excelled as Vice President at CIT from September 2005 to December 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing the ACAR/ACAT Factoring System. Peter also held the position of IT Consultant at CIT Commercial Services from February 2002 to October 2005, and at Bank of America from 1993 to 1999, contributing to the design and development of the Model Bank Project. Peter's educational background includes a NZ Certificate in Data Processing from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology, awarded from 1975 to 1977, and attendance at Te Aroha College, 1971 to 1974.
