Dawn Parks

Dawn Parks, CPA has over 30 years of work experience in accounting and finance. Dawn is currently working as the Assistant Vice President of Accounting at First Community Credit Union since March 2022. Previously, from 2006 to 2022, they held the position of Director of Accounting at Premium Retail Services, where they managed financial records and prepared monthly financial statements. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Management Accountant at TRG Accessories, where they prepared and presented financial statements and worked closely with the CFO on cost savings initiatives. Dawn also has experience as an Accounting Controller at The Arthur Wells Group/Central Freight Management, LLC, where they prepared financial statements and performed financial analysis. Dawn began their career as a Senior Financial Auditor at KPMG US, where they conducted annual audits and provided recommendations to enhance shareholder value.

Dawn Parks, CPA began their education in 1983 at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Dawn then proceeded to further expand their knowledge in the field by pursuing studies at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1988 to 1989, specializing in Accounting.
