Matthew Hutchinson has worked in the gaming industry since 2008. Matthew began their career as an Environment Artist Intern at Electronic Arts in 2008. After completing their internship, they returned to school to pursue a degree in Game Art and Design. Upon completion of their degree, they began working at Treyarch as a Level Designer in 2009. In the same year, they also worked at Machinima as a Scene Artist/Cinematic Scripter. In 2015, they joined Starbreeze Studios as a Senior Game Designer. In 2016, they joined First Contact Entertainment as a Game Designer, Outsource Manager, and Project Manager. In 2022, they joined Activision as a Principal Level Designer.
Matthew Hutchinson attended the Art Institute of California from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design.
