Summer Lee has a diverse work experience that spans various organizations and roles. They began their professional career as a Research and Planning Assistant at California State University-Channel Islands from October 2016 to February 2017. Afterwards, they served as an intern and Volunteer Coordinator at the Surfrider Foundation Ventura County Chapter from February 2017 to August 2018. They then joined the CivicSpark - AmeriCorps Program as a Science Educator from March 2018 to June 2018. Following this, Summer became a Key Leader at lululemon athletica from September 2015 to September 2021. After their time at lululemon, they took on the role of Grassroots Program Manager at Outdoor Women's Alliance from August 2019 until the present. Currently, Summer works as a Program Coordinator - Participant Engagement and Recruitment at First Descents starting in January 2023.
Summer Lee completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science and Resource Management from California State University Channel Islands between 2013 and 2018. Summer then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Outdoor Industry - Customer Service and Relations from Western Colorado University from 2020 to 2022.
