Jacy Simpson Phr

Jacy Simpson, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 18 years of experience in human resources. Jacy is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at First Electronic Bank, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Henriksen Butler from April 2015 to June 2021, where they were responsible for devising the vision and strategy for people, talent, and culture. Jacy also fostered a positive working environment and encouraged continuous learning and performance improvement.

Before their role at Henriksen Butler, Jacy worked as the Director of Human Resources at Western Governors University from September 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they partnered with business leaders on human capital initiatives, implemented HR plans to achieve strategic goals, and cultivated effective relationships with employees.

From 2011 to 2013, Jacy was a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Leucadia National Corporation. Their responsibilities included providing support for all HR functions, managing health and welfare functions, and delivering technical information to employees and third parties.

Prior to that, Jacy worked as a Human Resources Manager at Wasatch Advisors from April 2005 to September 2011. Jacy managed the talent acquisition process, developed recruitment strategies, and implemented employee rewards and engagement programs.

Jacy's early experience includes working as a Healthcare Recruiter at Maxim Healthcare Services from September 2004 to April 2005. Jacy successfully recruited and placed medical professionals in healthcare facilities and completed insurance intake for home healthcare cases.

Throughout their career, Jacy has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions and has played a key role in developing and implementing strategies to support organizational goals.

Jacy Simpson, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a focus on Marketing from UNLV Lee Business School. Jacy obtained their degree from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their educational background, Jacy has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Jacy received the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in April 2007. Furthermore, they have acquired various certifications in the financial industry, including Series 63, Series 6, Securities Industry Essentials, and Insurance Broker, Accident, Health, Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuity, all obtained from FINRA throughout the year 2021.
