Carlos Chacon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Carlos began their career in 2000 as an Analyst Programmer at Ministerio de Hacienda, SNA, working on projects as a counterpart. Carlos then moved on to Ministerio de Economia de Costa Rica as a System Analyst. In 2008, they joined Yamaha as a System Engineer, and later transitioned to Proyectica as a System Analyst.
In 2014, Carlos joined ASI GROUP- as an Analyst Programmer, where they modified systems for different banks across America and focused on ensuring security and quality assurance. Carlos then worked as a Consultant at AGS NASOFT MEXICO, before joining AN GLOBAL as a Software QA Engineer.
Carlos also had a role at ACODEHU, where they were responsible for communication and the website for Derechos Humanos de Costa Rica. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Software QA Engineer at First Factory, focusing on QA for projects such as Bellator and S&P Platts.
Carlos Chacon completed their bachiller degree in Computer Software Engineering at Universidad Central in Costa Rica from 1992 to 1996. In 1999-2000, they pursued further education at Tecnológico de Costa Rica and obtained a master's degree in the science of computers. In 2018, Carlos attended Universidad Cenfotec, where they received an ISTQB certification in software Quality Assurance. Additionally, they obtained an ISTQB certification from iSQI GmbH in December 2018.
