Jose Manuel Badilla Porras

Jose Manuel Badilla Porras has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jose Manuel began their career as a Network Technician at ICE, where they supported customers with various internet services. Jose Manuel then moved on to Kimberly-Clark, where they worked as an IT Support Specialist, providing technical assistance to internal users and supporting SAP systems.

After that, Jose joined IBM, initially as a Software Packaging/QA Tester/Distribution specialist, where they created scripts and tested IBM products. Later on, they transitioned to System Engineering/Cloud Infrastructure role, where they provided support for the API of cloud inventory and improved the code of the API.

Jose also worked at Tierramax as a Full Stack Web Developer, contributing to web development projects with a focus on back-end features. At Intel Corporation, they served as a Full Stack Developer, developing and debugging web applications, managing databases, and visualizing data.

Currently, Jose is working at First Factory as a Software Engineer, implementing projects using Agile SCRUM methodology, particularly a Sales Dashboard project that provides sales results and facilitates reporting and decision-making in the company.

Throughout their career, Jose has demonstrated strong technical skills in areas such as JavaScript, PHP, Node.js, HTML, Angular, and CSS modules. Jose Manuel has also showcased their ability to work in teams, follow development practices and norms, and deliver accurate results.

Jose Manuel Badilla Porras has a Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, which they obtained from 2010 to 2016. In 2010, they also completed a Cisco CCNA course at the same university. Prior to their university studies, from 2005 to 2008, they earned a Network Technician Diploma from Colegio Tecnico Profesional de Santa Ana. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "DevOps con un café" from LinkedIn in September 2021.
