Janice Schurtz

Janice Schurtz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Janice most recently worked at First Farmers & Merchants Bank--Minnesota as the Vice President/Controller/Chief Operations Officer. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at American National Bank of Minnesota and American Bancorporation of Minnesota, Inc. Janice also held positions at Ascensus, Atelier - Custom Drapery & Slipcover Design and Fabrication, Timberwood Church, JM Schurtz Consulting, Community National Bank, and Bank of New Richmond. Janice'sroles ranged from Account Executive to Owner, and they gained extensive experience in areas such as accounting, financial statements, asset/liability management, and budget coordination.

Janice Schurtz attended Augsburg University from 1987 to 1993 where they studied accounting. During this period, they completed coursework in accounting but did not receive a degree. In 2010, they enrolled in the Custom Home Furnishings Academy in Charlotte, NC. Janice completed the program in 2012, earning a Career Professional Certificate in Advanced Window Treatment Fabrication and Bedding Fabrication.
