Jeff Whittington

Jeff Whittington's work experience begins with their role as the President & CEO of First Federal Bank NC, a position they have held since January 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of First Federal Bank from August 2016 to January 2017. Before joining First Federal Bank, they worked at Community & Southern Bank as the Chief Banking Officer from September 2012 to July 2016. Jeff also held various roles at Cadence Bank, N.A. including Executive Vice President - Risk Management from 1999 to 2013, State Executive from 2006 to 2011, and City President - Tuscaloosa from 1999 to 2006. Earlier in their career, they were the Senior Credit Officer at First National Bank of Opelika, AL from 1995 to 1999 and a Commercial Lender at BBVA Compass from 1992 to 1995. Jeff started their career as a Banker at Regions Bank in March 1985.

Jeff Whittington earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Auburn University at Montgomery in 1990. Jeff later attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU from 2000 to 2002.
