Velda Morales has extensive experience in asset management and valuations, currently serving as an Asset Manager at First Financial Equipment Leasing since June 2022, where responsibilities include assessing portfolio and asset risk, forecasting residual values, and managing off-lease transactions. Prior to this role, Velda held the position of AVP of Asset Valuations at CIT from October 2006 to June 2022, specializing in residual valuation for various lease transactions across multiple industries. Velda's career also includes a significant tenure as a Senior Remarketing Specialist at Bombardier Capital, where expertise in remarketing and recovery strategies was developed. Velda holds a degree from Universidad de Puerto Rico, completed between 1987 and 1990.
