Matthew Wise

Matthew Wise, MBA has over 25 years of work experience in various industries. Matthew recently served as the Chief Credit Officer at First Guaranty Bank. Prior to that, they held a long-term position at Regions Financial Corporation as the Commercial Credit Process Manager, where they were responsible for managing a team of Credit Underwriters and overseeing loan approvals. Matthew also has entrepreneurial experience as an Insurance Agent/Owner at Wise Insurance Agency, LLC, where they increased revenues and managed a team of employees. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Commercial Portfolio Manager at AmSouth Bank and served in the US Army as a Captain, managing information flow and directing operations for a unit of thousands of soldiers.

Matthew Wise, MBA, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from LSU Shreveport. Matthew completed this program from 1991 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Concentration in Finance from Louisiana State University, which they completed from 2000 to 2002.
