Laron Tamaye

Laron Tamaye has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Laron is currently working as an Asst Vice President & Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at First Hawaiian Bank since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at American Savings Bank as a Vice President & Segment Financial Officer from September 2022 to December 2023, and as a Vice President & Commercial Policy & Strategy Administrator from October 2017 to November 2022. Laron also worked at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union as a Credit Portfolio Risk Manager from July 2016 to October 2017, and at Hawaii State Federal Credit Union where they were promoted to Credit Reporting & Analytics Manager from April 2015 to July 2016 after starting as a Credit Administrator from April 2013 to March 2015. Before entering the financial industry, they gained international experience as a Guest English Teacher at EPIK (English Program in Korea) from August 2009 to August 2010. Laron started their career at Cascade Natural Gas as a Rates & Conservation Analyst from May 2008 to August 2009. Prior to that, they worked at Garden City Group, LLC as a Finance & Reporting Administrator from April 2007 to May 2008, and at Expeditors as an Account Representative from February 2006 to April 2007.

Laron Tamaye holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Seattle University, which was obtained from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, Laron completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a minor in Japanese at Willamette University from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Laron has obtained additional certifications, including Nonprofit Financial Management Essentials from NonprofitReady and Tableau Desktop Certified Associate from Tableau Software. Laron is also a Competent Communicator certified by Toastmasters International.
