Niels Taylor

Niels Taylor has a strong background in leadership and security. Niels began their career in 1998 as a Director at ECatalog Systems. From 2000 to 2005, they served as the Division Manager at CUDefense, where they oversaw all aspects of the business unit. In 2006, they joined AgFirst Farm Credit Bank as the Director of Information Security, Compliance, and Quality Assurance. Niels then moved on to Bank of Hawaii in 2012, where they held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer until 2017. Currently, they are working at First Hawaiian Bank as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Operational Risk.

Niels Taylor holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from Furman University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from reputable institutions such as ISACA and ISC2.
