Youssef Benlamlih has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2009 with a Program Intern position at the United Nations Development Program. In 2010, they held two positions, one as a Regional Intern at the International Rescue Committee and one as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant at EngenderHealth. In 2011, they worked as a Program Assistant at EngenderHealth, and in 2012 they were a Middle East and Africa Analyst at Thought Projector International. From 2013-2016, they held various roles, including Contributor at Africa is a Country, Associate at Cooper & Cooper Real Estate, and Real Estate Salesperson at Horowitz Real Estate. Since 2018, they have been a Business Development/Outside Sales Representative for MD at First Help Financial, where they are responsible for on-boarding new business partners and maintaining current business relationships throughout Maryland and Virginia.

Youssef Benlamlih obtained their High School Degree from the American International School, Kuwait in 1998-2001. Youssef then attended Drew University from 2001-2006 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. In 2005, they participated in a Study Abroad Program with Classes on Development and Anthropology at the University of Asmara. Youssef then went on to obtain a Masters in International Affairs with a focus on Development at The New School from 2009-2011. In April 2020, Youssef Benlamlih obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in the areas of Field Sales, Prepare Yourself for a Career in Sales, Sales Foundations, and Sales: Practical Techniques.
