Shawn Preston

Shawn Preston has extensive experience in the legal field, with roles ranging from corporate counsel to assistant general counsel at various companies such as HF Sinclair and BP. In their current role at FIRST in Texas, Shawn serves on the Board of Directors, supporting Robotics teams and events with a focus on accessibility for underrepresented students. Shawn's background includes responsibilities in contract negotiation, compliance, and international operations. Shawn holds a B.A. in Political Science & History from Pepperdine University and a J.D. in Law from St. Mary's University School of Law.
