Rebeca Barja

Rebeca Barja is a highly experienced mining professional with a comprehensive background in engineering and geology, currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer and Resources and Reserves Modeller at First Majestic Silver Corp. since June 2018. Prior experience includes a role as Business Analyst for GEOVIA at Dassault Systèmes from June 2012 to May 2018, where Rebeca specialized in the implementation and customization of software solutions for mining clients across North America. Previous positions also include Mine Planning Coordinator at Pan American Silver Corp., where significant achievements involved the creation of metallurgical and rock quality databases, and Jr. Mine and Production Geologist at Coeur D'Alene Mines Corporation, where Rebeca enhanced data management and communication processes. Rebeca holds a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences and Environmental Science from Queen's University.
