Chris Kelly has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Chris currently serves as the Managing Director at Trachtala Consulting Ltd. since August 2021. Prior to that, they held roles such as Project Controls/ Study Manager at First Mining Gold Corp., Project Controls/Project Manager at Atrum Coal Limited, and Senior Quantity Surveyor at Ballymore.

From 2017 to 2020, Chris worked at Mott MacDonald, where they held the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor. During this time, they had various responsibilities, including being the Commercial Manager for projects such as the Liverpool St. SER relocation project and London Trams. Chris also provided commercial assistance on Singapore Power's North-South Cable Tunnel project and worked on drafting and tendering maintenance infrastructure contracts for Transport for London (TFL). Additionally, they served as a cost estimator on HS2's Phase 2B for retaining structures and earthworks.

Chris Kelly has a diverse education history. Chris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Economics and Management with a focus on Quantity Surveying from Technological University Dublin from 2008 to 2012, achieving a distinction. In 2013 and 2014, they pursued further education at Heriot-Watt University, where they completed three Masters modules in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they attended King's College London and obtained a Master's degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. Additionally, Chris has achieved several certifications, including the Osgoode Certificate in Construction Law from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023, Valuation of Mineral Projects based on Technical and Financial Modelling from Imperial College London in 2022, and the Professional Quantity Surveyor designation from CIQS in 2017. Chris also became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2021.
